In a groundbreaking innovation to the field of art lighting, Cocoweb™ has combined the aesthetic principals of museum quality lighting arrangements with the modern functionality of a wireless device and created the Battery Operated Picture Light. These Wireless Picture Lamps contain several low voltage LED nodes hat produce a high-quality luminance with a color rendering index (CRI) of 90- making all colors burst off the canvas with a vivid realism- and at a color temperature of 2700K- a golden color similar to the early morning sun but without the discoloring effects of ultraviolet radiation.
When properly lighting an artwork, the brightness of the light shinning on it is an important element to consider – too bright and all of the colors will wash out; too dim and spectators will not be able to see the intricate details - which is why Cocoweb™ Battery Operated Picture Lights come with an infrared remote control coded with an unique IR signal code for each lamp allowing a curator standing 30 feet away can turn the light on or off, set a timer of operation lasting up to six hours, and adjust the brightness level between 10 percent and 100 percent.
Our Wireless Picture Lights can be placed in virtually any location – including into the casing of a painting as a frame light – because these lamps are not bound by the placement of power outlets or junction boxes. The battery operated picture light can operate continuously for up to 50,000 hours with minimal amounts of power, helping to save money on electric bills and, by lessening the demands placed upon power plants, reduce society’s carbon footprint.
