Early morning settled over Yellowstone in cool layers, the water moving steadily through the frame while the air hovered low and quiet above it. The light was restrained—soft, colorless, and even—allowing texture and tone to lead rather than brightness or reflection.
The river became a line of calm direction, drawing the eye forward without interruption. The banks held their distance, fading gently into the haze, offering no distraction and no sense of urgency. There were no ripples to animate the surface, no wildlife to claim attention—only the subtle movement of water and the discipline of stillness.
Morning on the River is about patience and observation, a moment when Yellowstone reveals itself without drama, and is shaped by quiet presence rather than spectacle.

Prints mounted on Aluminom Dibond offer a long-lasting, gallery-ready piece. The photographs are printed on a matte paper which reduces reflections (using Fuji Crystal Archive DP II paper) and then mounted on Aluminum Dibond (so not infused on metal). Aluminum Dibond is a 0.11 in. (3mm) thick composite material with three layers. Two white-coated aluminum plates enclose a black polyethylene core. Viewed from the sides, the material appears black. Although extremely robust, Aluminum Dibond has a low weight, meaning it is also perfect for large-format pieces. You photo print is laminated with a UV and dust protective thin film and mounted on the Aluminum Dibond.
Prints mounted on Aluminum Dibond backing arrive ready to hang with aluminum rails attached to the back for easy installation out of the box.
