Storm over the Grand Canyon captures the immense drama of nature in motion. Dark, brooding clouds roll across the vast expanse, casting deep shadows that carve the canyon’s cliffs into a tapestry of light and dark. Occasional streaks of sunlight pierce the storm, illuminating the layered rock formations in warm, fleeting tones of red, ochre, and gold. The Colorado River, far below, glimmers faintly like a silver thread winding through the rugged terrain. The scene feels alive with tension—the raw power of the approaching storm juxtaposed against the canyon’s timeless, stoic grandeur—inviting both awe and a quiet sense of reverence.

Prints mounted on Aluminom Dibond offer a long-lasting, gallery-ready piece. The photographs are printed on a matte paper which reduces reflections (using Fuji Crystal Archive DP II paper) and then mounted on Aluminum Dibond (so not infused on metal). Aluminum Dibond is a 0.11 in. (3mm) thick composite material with three layers. Two white-coated aluminum plates enclose a black polyethylene core. Viewed from the sides, the material appears black. Although extremely robust, Aluminum Dibond has a low weight, meaning it is also perfect for large-format pieces. You photo print is laminated with a UV and dust protective thin film and mounted on the Aluminum Dibond.

Prints mounted on Aluminum Dibond backing arrive ready to hang with aluminum rails attached to the back for easy installation out of the box.

Fine Art Paper/Giclée Prints (Ships Within 1 Week)

Photos on fine art paper are particularly high-quality, with an emphasis on details, texture, depth and extremely long-lasting color that is true to the original. The archival paper used is Hahnemühle Photo Rag which has a matte surface and a fine, soft surface texture. The premium print using Epson UltraChrome Pro pigments ensures the finest tonal gradation. Pictures are reproduced at an ultra-high resolution with a perfect grey balance.

Each of the fine art paper sizes on offer has a white border around the image (0.8 inches). Please note that these prints come without a frame or mounting.
