Rain is rare in the high desert, but when it comes, it transforms everything. On this particular morning in the Windows section of Arches National Park, the soft patter of rain replaced the usual silence, and the sandstone seemed to soak in the moisture like a long-awaited drink.

Brian Wolski is a Colorado based wilderness photographer who has been hiking the Rockies with his camera for nearly a decade.  When exploring close to home Brian strives to capture some of the less frequented, harder to reach areas in Rocky Mountain National Park and to bring home images that are unique amongst fellow landscape photographers.
