The glass color is blown into a light transparency of blues and purple on the surface with a solid core of clear glass.
When the object is done cooling it is then cut, carved and polished. Revealing a myriad of visual effects. This dynamic piece looks different at every angle and has amazing contrast of texture in the carved areas and the smooth surface of the sphere.
The piece rests comfortably in the artist made steel base with a black powder coat finish.
