This large landscape painting was inspired by an incredible sunset over the Sierra Nevada Mountains that I saw on a road trip.The sky blazes with a symphony of colors — fiery oranges, deep reds, and soft purples — spilling over rugged peaks and casting long, shifting shadows across the valleys below. Each mountain ridge is rendered with careful attention to texture and depth, while the luminous sky creates a sense of vastness and grandeur. My brushwork aims to convey both the fleeting intensity of the sunset and the enduring majesty of the Sierra Nevada, inviting the viewer to pause and feel the breathtaking beauty of this moment.
It measures 30x40 inches and it's on a 1 inch deep stretched canvas. It comes with a scratch resistant wood frame but can also hang without a frame.
