Description
Spotlight, Yellowstone National Park, by Ruby Hour Photo Art ~ Marcela Herdova
In the monochrome quiet of Yellowstone, the swan drifts into a solitary beam of light, as if the landscape itself has chosen to unveil it. The water around the bird turns to liquid shadow—smooth, dark, and silent—while the swan’s white feathers rise in stark contrast, glowing against the surrounding depth of gray.
Prints mounted on Aluminom Dibond offer a long-lasting, gallery-ready piece. The photographs are printed on a matte paper which reduces reflections (using Ilford B/W paper) and then mounted on Aluminum Dibond (so not infused on metal). Aluminum Dibond is a 0.11 in. (3mm) thick composite material with three layers. Two white-coated aluminum plates enclose a black polyethylene core. Viewed from the sides, the material appears black. Although extremely robust, Aluminum Dibond has a low weight, meaning it is also perfect for large-format pieces. You photo print is laminated with a UV and dust protective thin film and mounted on the Aluminum Dibond.
Prints mounted on Aluminum Dibond backing arrive ready to hang with aluminum rails attached to the back for easy installation out of the box.
