The third highest in Rocky Mountain National Park—the world feels vast, silent, and eternal. As the sun dips toward the horizon, light of day stretches low and igniting the summits with a fleeting, fiery glow.

The wind is cold and thin, but the view is overwhelming—wild, raw, and humbling. There are no trails here, no signs of civilization—just light, stone, and sky. Brian Wolski is a Colorado based wilderness photographer who has been hiking the Rockies with his camera for nearly a decade.  When exploring close to home Brian strives to capture some of the less frequented, harder to reach areas in Rocky Mountain National Park and to bring home images that are unique amongst fellow landscape photographers.
