Blanketed in a dense layer of fog, the Snake River lies still and silent, its surface reflecting only the soft gray of the sky above. Through the mist, a shadow stirs—Grizzly 610, the iconic matriarch of Grand Teton. Her massive frame moves gracefully, undeterred by the chill, her presence both powerful and serene. Just behind her, a small cub then follows—tentative, yet trusting—into the current. Together, they move through the fog like phantoms of the wild, a fleeting and sacred moment where strength and tenderness walk side by side through the heart of untamed wilderness.
