Description
Winter Lamar, Yellowstone National Park by Ruby Hour Photo Art ~ Marcela Herdova
Winter Lamar immerses the viewer in the quiet, pristine beauty of Yellowstone’s Lamar Valley under a blanket of snow. Frost-laden grasses and shrubs stretch across the open plain, their delicate forms softened by the winter cold. Distant ridges rise like pale shadows against a sky of muted gray, while the valley floor glistens in subtle contrasts of white and dark earth. Wildlife traces—hoofprints and pawprints—hint at life persisting in the stillness, yet the overall scene exudes serene solitude. In this frozen moment, the Lamar Valley feels both expansive and intimate, a testament to the stark, understated elegance of Yellowstone in winter.
Print Options
Prints mounted on Aluminom Dibond offer a long-lasting, gallery-ready piece. The photographs are printed on a matte paper which reduces reflections (using Fuji Crystal Archive DP II paper) and then mounted on Aluminum Dibond (so not infused on metal). Aluminum Dibond is a 0.11 in. (3mm) thick composite material with three layers. Two white-coated aluminum plates enclose a black polyethylene core. Viewed from the sides, the material appears black. Although extremely robust, Aluminum Dibond has a low weight, meaning it is also perfect for large-format pieces. You photo print is laminated with a UV and dust protective thin film and mounted on the Aluminum Dibond.
Prints mounted on Aluminum Dibond backing arrive ready to hang with aluminum rails attached to the back for easy installation out of the box.
