Of all the flowers, sunflowers seem to have the most human-like qualities. In this grouping each of them seem to have their own personality. I wanted to capture a group of sunflowers in a more contemplative, natural state, not necessarily facing the light. Their heads tilt in different directions, some drooping slightly, others standing upright, creating a sense of organic movement and individuality. The rich yellows of the petals contrast with deep green stems and leaves, emphasizing texture and form. By portraying them this way, I aimed to celebrate the quiet, unassuming beauty of the flowers, showing them as they are in the midst of their growth, rather than in a staged or idealized way.
