This painting was completed in Sonoma last year during the Sonoma Plein Air Festival. My process begins with painting on location in smaller sized on canvas or linen, then returning to the studion to recreate the

scene on a larger canvas, allowing for greater control of color, composition, and refinement.

I have painted vineyards for may years and had been represented by a major gallery in Sonoma before it closed during the Pandemic. I specialized in vineyard landscapes the golden hills and fall colors of

northern California. My paintings are sold unframed so the collector can choose the frame that best fits the budget, style and individual's taste.
