Description
Fall at String Lake, Grand Teton National Park, by Ruby Hour Photo Art ~ Marcela Herdova
Autumn settles gently over String Lake, painting the shoreline in rich tones of gold, amber, and soft rust. The calm, glass-clear water mirrors the fiery aspens and cottonwoods that cling to the forest’s edge, their reflections shimmering like stained glass beneath the sweeping backdrop of the Tetons. Crisp mountain air carries the faint scent of pine and fallen leaves, while the soft crunch of the lakeside trail accompanies each step along the water’s edge. In this season, String Lake feels both peaceful and alive—a quiet sanctuary where autumn’s colors meet alpine grandeur, creating a moment of stillness framed by some of the most iconic peaks in the American West.
Print Options
Prints mounted on Aluminom Dibond offer a long-lasting, gallery-ready piece. The photographs are printed on a matte paper which reduces reflections (using Fuji Crystal Archive DP II paper) and then mounted on Aluminum Dibond (so not infused on metal). Aluminum Dibond is a 0.11 in. (3mm) thick composite material with three layers. Two white-coated aluminum plates enclose a black polyethylene core. Viewed from the sides, the material appears black. Although extremely robust, Aluminum Dibond has a low weight, meaning it is also perfect for large-format pieces. You photo print is laminated with a UV and dust protective thin film and mounted on the Aluminum Dibond.
Prints mounted on Aluminum Dibond backing arrive ready to hang with aluminum rails attached to the back for easy installation out of the box.
