Description
Olympic National Park by Ruby Hour Photo Art ~ Marcela Herdova
Through the camera’s eye, Olympic National Park reveals a world shaped by mist, ancient forests, and untamed coastline. Towering evergreens draped in emerald moss rise from a forest floor softened by ferns and filtered light, creating a cathedral-like stillness. In the distance, layers of rugged mountains stack against the horizon, their peaks often veiled in drifting clouds. Along the shoreline, tidepools shimmer with reflected sky while sea stacks stand like weathered sentinels against the crashing Pacific surf. Every frame offers a rich interplay of texture and atmosphere—dense fog rolling through valleys, the quiet glow of soft rain, and the moody blues of twilight settling over the landscape. This is Olympic National Park: wild, moody, and endlessly photogenic, a place where nature’s drama unfolds in every direction.
Prints mounted on Aluminom Dibond offer a long-lasting, gallery-ready piece. The photographs are printed on a matte paper which reduces reflections (using Fuji Crystal Archive DP II paper) and then mounted on Aluminum Dibond (so not infused on metal). Aluminum Dibond is a 0.11 in. (3mm) thick composite material with three layers. Two white-coated aluminum plates enclose a black polyethylene core. Viewed from the sides, the material appears black. Although extremely robust, Aluminum Dibond has a low weight, meaning it is also perfect for large-format pieces. You photo print is laminated with a UV and dust protective thin film and mounted on the Aluminum Dibond.
Prints mounted on Aluminum Dibond backing arrive ready to hang with aluminum rails attached to the back for easy installation out of the box.
