This multi-layered dish is on an aventurine glass base, giving it lovely blue sparkles.

This intriguing glass orb starts with a fused glass plate which is then rolled up into a cylinder and blown into a globe shape.  The piece is then coldworked, sandblasted and glued to a glass base.
