Fall Feels by Aaron Rashid

After a couple of days shooting fall colors in the Sierra Nevadas I was about to leave when I decided to drive up one more mountain road - call it intuition... or sleep deprivation. When I first took this photo I liked it for the light coming through the trees. When I got home it didn't really have the same feeling as when I took it. I spent several days and multiple edits trying to invoke the feeling I had when I took it. When I thought I was ready to give up I thought I would mess around with some stuff in photoshop I've never used and this was the end result, envoking the sleep deprived sight I first saw.

About the Artist

Aaron is a landscape photographer whose work reflects a deep love for wild places and public lands. Born and raised in Estes Park, Colorado - known as the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park - the outdoors are his second home. Inspired by the quiet beauty of nature and the shifting play of light, he captures moments that invite viewers to pause, reflect, and feel connected to the world beyond their everyday. Each photograph is both a personal journey and an invitation to experience the stillness, wonder, and timeless stories written in the land.
