Barn Lighting
Barn lighting are a vintage style of lighting fixtures that replicate industrial lights found in the early 20th century. Barn Lights often feature a classic metal shade in an industrial style. Wall variations often feature a traditional gooseneck arm extending the fixture outward. Barn lighting fixtures provide homes and businesses with the distressed decor trend that is reminiscent of the warehouse and barn style living. With the round metal shade, barn lights are an RLM style of lighting that projects the light downward.
Often used in the outdoors, our LED barn lights bring character to the exterior space it occupies. Despite their predominant outside use, wall and pendant variations of the barn style lighting fixture can be utilized indoors as well, providing a rustic vibe for the home with a minimalistic yet industrial aesthetic.

Types of Shades
Traditional Shades : Once purely functional, the classic barn light shapes was a variation of a bowl or bell shapes. The contour worked to focus light downward, making them perfect for task lighting. Now, shades vary in all shapes and sizes, but many gravitate toward the classic style for its timelessness. For the design-conscious, a wide array of colors and goosenecks are available to complement any style.
Modern Shades : While still inspired by the roots of vintage barn lighting, modern designs typically follow a bowl or bell shape. However, they elect a sleek profile with simple lines.
Industrial Fixtures : Commonly, industrial barn lighting features protective elements such as wire or cast steel cages to improve durability in extreme environments. Now, industrial lighting is used to provide rustic, masculine details and balance to designs.
Types of BarnLights
Gooseneck Barn Lights
Gooseneck barn lights feature a shade paired with a curved arm. The arms extend the shade and light from the wall to illuminate surfaces away from the wall, such as entryways, kitchen counters, and garage doors.
Barn Light Sconces
Like Gooseneck barn lights, barn light sconces feature a shade with a curved arm. However, sconces feature smaller shades and exclusive arms to light specific spaces, such as bathroom vanities, doorways, and as secondary lighting in bedrooms.
Sign Lights
With the use of a unique swivel joint, gooseneck barn lights can be transformed into sign lights. The joint moves in a 180° angle to allow directional light to illuminate signage, billboards, or facades.
Pendant Barn Lights
Pendant barn lights allow continuity of style from the building's exterior lighting to the interior. Pendant mounts often hang from a stylish cord, which restricts them outdoors to prevent weather damage. However, Cocoweb provides the option of a sleek downrod to weatherproof the light and provide pendant lighting outdoors, perfect for porches or patios.
Barn Light Floor Lamps
Barn light shades are paired with a floor lamp base to create a unique way to provide accent lighting to reading nooks and workspaces. Weighted and powered with an AC adapter, these lamps are the easiest way to add a vintage flair to your home.
Barn Lamp Post Lamps
Barn Light post lamps allow you to provide a cohesive and polished look throughout the property by bringing our variety of barn light shades to a curved arm and 8’ or 11’ post to provide sufficient light in parking lots, decks, and landscaping.
What are the different gooseneck choices for a LED Barn Light?
The term ‘gooseneck’ was derived from the shape of the actual neck of a goose, hence the term “gooseneck”. Goosenecks and barn lights are completely interchangeable depending on the look you want your gooseneck barn light fixture to have. For example, for a rustic barn, you would choose a rustic gooseneck for your gooseneck barn light. For a traditional barn, you would choose a traditional gooseneck stem. All available in our unique selection of goosenecks and barn lights.

In addition to the various arms sizes and styles, we also offer downrods for our pendant barn lights. Our downrods come with four 1-foot increments to allow you to customize your pendant length while also protecting the pendant from the elements.
To further customize your barn lighting, we offer three bases for mounting your barn light. The standard base allows you to use with most 110v inline wall dimmers, which will enable you to customize the brightness for your space. Our motion sensors help increase safety and security. Sensors have a range of 50 ft at a 90-degree angle and stay on for 5 minutes after motion is detected. Our photosensor bases automatically control your exterior lights, from dusk to dawn, so you don’t have to remember to turn them on every night. When the photocell light bulb on the base detects low light, it will turn on the fixture. The light will stay on until the photocell detects ambient light. Add steel, silver-coated cage to add a finished look while allowing abundant light to shine through.
